Curious about owning a reptile but not ready to take the full plunge? Our Rent-A-Reptile program is the perfect way to experience pet ownership without the pressure. Take home one of our reptiles for 5 nights, complete with a full habitat setup—including lighting, heating, food. and instructions. You’ll get the chance to care for and bond with your potential new pet in your own space and on your own terms.

If you fall in love (and we think you will), you can choose to purchase your reptile and its habitat, and we’ll deduct the rental fee from the final price. If it’s not the right fit, simply return your scaly friend with no strings attached. It’s a low-risk, high-reward way to make the best decision for you and the animal.

Choose from a variety of beginner-friendly reptiles, each with a different care level to match your comfort and experience. Our Ball Python is the easiest to care for, rated 1 out of 5, requiring just one feeding and cleaning during your rental period. The Crested Gecko comes in at 2 out of 5, with bi-daily feeding and easy maintenance. For a moderate challenge, the Leopard Gecko is rated 3 out of 5, needing bi-daily attention and a simple heat setup. And for those ready to dive into more hands-on care, the Bearded Dragon ranks 4 out of 5, with high heat needs, regular feedings, and live insects. Pick the one that fits your vibe and give reptile life a real try. Instructions and full phone/text support is included with the rental so you'll never be left without help.

Prices for our Rent-A-Reptile program start at just $59, with the final cost depending on the specific morph or variety you choose. Some reptiles, especially those with rare or exotic morphs, may have a higher rental fee. We also offer other animals outside the main lineup, each with their own unique pricing based on species and availability.
